Around 75% of the ads we had coming in were already built. So when I got the opportunity to design ads for clients I made it my goal to create unique ads that stood out from the typical newspaper ad by implementing custom graphics, typography variation, and more modern color schemes.
During my time at The Wenatchee World, I was given the task of paginating a seasonal publication known as Lake Chelan Today. Along with the layout I designed the covers, story headlines and some of the ads.
