The typeface known as “Caballero”. Designed for personal use, its one of a kind existence is met with great praise and the highest grade in the class.
I love typography, so when a project focused one typography came up I was ecstatic. I wanted to be able to draw inspiration from some other typefaces such as Garamond and Didot, I admired the combination of rounded terminals and slab serifs. My biggest inspiration came from the 1920 art deco area, trying to create a sort of display font that would be seen on posters (keeping it swanky).
Along with a full set of capital and lowercase letters, I created a set of symbols and numbers that one would normally find on their keyboard.
