Book cover design for a publication from NNU’s Center for the Study of Market Alternatives. The book revolved around the recent financial crisis happening in this country and the limitations on government intervention.
After being given full creative control of this project, I wanted to make sure I understood what I was designing for, which entailed a lot of research of terms from the book and of Economic Freedom which was the basis of the book. I wanted to try and come up with something that showcased both government and finances. The end result was an illustration of a Statesman’s suit to represent Government and the words “Less” and “Can’t” in red. Red to represent being in the red financially, and also to highlight them to give them importance, since those words were pivitol to understanding what the book would be about.
